Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution seeks a skilled field service technician to deliver, install, start up, and validate commercial laundry equipment at laundromats, hotels, hospitals, and multi‑unit residential facilities.

You will interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and OEM manuals to ensure correct setup and safe operation, while maintaining documentation and training end users.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience repairing commercial, military, industrial, or manufacturing equipment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC fundamentals.
  • Experience with phone/email ticketing or dispatch systems (preferred).
  • Computer skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license; a company vehicle may be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver, install, start up, and validate commercial laundry equipment to company standards, techniques, and safety requirements.
  • Install, configure, and commission washers, dryers, and finishing equipment in laundromats, hotels, hospitals, and multi-unit residential facilities.
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and OEM manuals to ensure correct setup.
  • Connect machines to electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation systems per local codes and manufacturer specifications.
  • Level and anchor equipment to floors/walls in line with safety and performance standards.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and resolve issues before customer handoff.
  • Coordinate onsite logistics with general contractors, facility managers, and utility trades.
  • Train end users and staff on operation and basic maintenance.
  • Complete documentation, inspection checklists, and warranty registrations.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory in ready‑to‑work condition.
  • Escalate high‑priority items to your Manager and contribute ideas to improve processes and best practices.
