Job summary

Superior Beverage Group is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our Akron team. This full-time, day-shift role involves building displays, rotating products, coordinating with account managers and delivery drivers, and ensuring proper pricing.

You'll work Mon-Fri, 1st shift, and benefit from a comprehensive package including medical, dental, 401(k), vacation and personal time, disability coverage, life insurance, and access to a fitness center and employee programs.

Qualifications

• Previous sales and/or relevant work experience preferred.
• Ability to persuade and influence others.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of customer service standards.
• Use of basic hand tools and equipment dolly.
• Ability to maneuver heavy product (168-pound kegs, 35-pound cases).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Account Managers and Delivery Drivers to execute sales and merchandising plans.
• Daily execution of sales support initiatives including building displays, placing POS, rotating products and pricing.
• Utilize current, thematic POS when building and maintaining displays.
• Develop and maintain relationships with retailers to promote a positive Company image.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Understand and promote proper shelf space management according to Company standards.
• Complete daily assignments efficiently and communicate discrepancies to relevant managers.

Qualifications: Sales Support Specialist Typical Duties

• Effectively coordinates with Account Managers and Delivery Drivers to execute sales and merchandising plans.
• Responsible for daily execution of sales support initiatives including, but not limited to, building displays, placing POS, rotating products, and ensuring proper pricing.
• Utilizes current, thematic POS when building and maintaining displays.
• Develops and maintains relationships with retailers to promote a positive Company image.
• Addresses inquiries and resolves issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Understands and promotes proper shelf space management according to Company standards. Ensures products are properly priced, rotated, and merchandised.
• Works efficiently to complete all daily assignments.
• Checks account pricing and communicate discrepancies to account manager, regional director,and/or pricing coordinator in a timely manner.

Sales Support Specialist Skills / Qualifications
