Job summary

Union Beer Distributors, a division of the Sheehan Family Companies, is seeking a driven sales professional for the Brooklyn/NYC territory. You will develop and maintain account relationships, promote our brands, and grow presence across existing customers.

The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement. Candidates should have a high school diploma or higher, be 21+, and able to work some evenings/weekends in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• 21 years of age or older to comply with federal and state regulations.
• Passion for beer, superior customer service, and relationship-building with customers.
• Valid driver’s license with active auto insurance.
• Ability to fulfill physical demands of the job.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong comfort level with technology.
• Must be able to obtain a solicitor’s license and maintain.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
• Ability and willingness to work independently and with a team.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective account relationships and promote the goodwill of the company.
• Represent our world-class brands in a dynamic market.
• Grow brand presence within our existing accounts.
• Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS.
• Effective Accounts Receivable collections according to State Law.
• Develop accounts base by opening new accounts and growing points of distribution.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information, and other questions as they arise.
• Execute monthly and quarterly priorities as related to business activities.
• Create relationships with appropriate account personnel and supplier teams to maintain and improve customer service.
• Support the Marketing Team in executing brand development programs and placement of promotional materials.
• Rotate the product to maintain the freshness as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

*This position will cover the Brooklyn/NYC territory.* Total compensation range including bonuses: $55,000 - $65,000 per year. What you'll be doing:
