Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking a Pre-Ski School Attendant for Snowshoe season to assist supervisors with daily operations and care for children aged 2-4. You will help create engaging activities, snacks, and indoor/outdoor play to make families' experiences memorable.

The role involves early mornings, weekends, and holidays; training is required before mid-December. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with CPR/First Aid certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness and ability to learn to ski.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience in a related field preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure children’s comfort and happiness; assist with bathroom breaks, diaper changes, minor accidents, clothing adjustments, and outdoor dressing.
• Perform housekeeping duties in the pre-ski school area and assist with organizing lunch.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage to order and serve daily lunches; ensure adequate supplies.
• Manage check-in/check-out procedures and assist with waivers.
• Prepare children for the day and escort them to activities.
• Handle basic RTP functions such as inventory checks and order closures.
• Serve as a resort ambassador, sharing information about facilities and products.
• Teach snow sports in a safe, enjoyable environment.
• Build rapport with guests and staff through trust and care.
• Adhere to resort policies and participate in training; maintain professional appearance.
