Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead shop operations at our collision repair facility in Renton, Washington. The GM oversees daily production, front- and back-of-shop activities, production flow, and customer service, aiming to meet revenue goals and KPIs while upholding Crash Champions and I-CAR quality standards.

This role requires leadership, coordination with estimators, body technicians, parts managers, and payroll responsibilities to ensure efficient vehicle

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the collision repair industry.
  • Understanding of insurance procedures and carrier requirements.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively to achieve shared goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Experience using estimating software, particularly CCC ONE Total Repair Software.
  • Proficiency with computers and workplace technology.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed location revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage shop operations from vehicle intake through delivery to maximize production efficiency and throughput.
  • Oversee daily production workflow and ensure timely vehicle completion.
  • Assign repair jobs to Body Technicians and prioritize vehicles for tear down and paint.
  • Communicate daily with Body Technicians, Estimators, and Parts Managers to maintain production flow.
  • Monitor shop output and ensure repairs meet company quality standards.
  • Assist teammates during peak periods by greeting customers, checking in vehicles, and writing estimates when necessary.
  • Prepare and finalize DRP complaint estimates after full disassembly and damage discovery.
  • Update and lock final estimates as needed.
  • Ensure all repairs meet Crash Champions and I-CAR quality standards.
  • Verify all repairs are accurately billed and documented.
  • Maintain back-of-shop safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire qualified teammates for open positions.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Manage production staff timekeeping and flag-hour procedures.
  • Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.

Job Description
