ABOUT US

The Growth & Wellness Therapy Centre is a busy private practice clinic in midtown Toronto (Bayview/Eglinton) focused on providing health and wellness support to the community both in person and online. Our team is made up of motivated Social Workers, Registered Psychotherapists, Registered Dietitians, Life Coaches, Yoga Practitioners, Reiki Masters, Registered Massage Therapists, graduate-level clinical Interns and more.

We're a warm and supportive clinic focused on supporting the growth of both clients and clinicians. We work different days and hours and operate from different theoretical perspectives. We focus on building up the practices of our clinicians so that whether they ultimately stay with us long-term or eventually branch out on their own their equipped to make their individual practice succeed. We offer opportunities to engage in team building and community events so you don't feel alone in your practice journey.

ABOUT YOU

You're a self-motivated, creative, warm and compassionate therapist who is looking to join a group practice focused on clinician-client fit. You have trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, continue to engage in continuing education, and are ready to support clients with a variety issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationships, communication, stress management, etc. You are committed to an anti-oppressive practice and are comfortable working with clients regardless of religion, sexuality, gender, culture, identity and ability.

You must be available to work in person at least one day a week, and we're especially seeking clinicians that can work on Thursday or Friday evenings and/or weekends.

We are currently seeking clinicians with a focus in the following areas:

• Suicide and Self-Harm


• Trauma Processing


• Hypnotherapy


• Clinical Supervision and Supervison of Supervision

HIRING

Hiring: Social Worker or Psychotherapist (F/T or P/T Independent Contractor)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing psychotherapy services in person and online to clients around a variety of issues


• Engage in on-going continuing education and supervision as needed


• Maintain a highly ethical practice adhering to any relevant College guildelines or requirements


• Communicating your availability to the office minimum three weeks in advance


• Completing charting as required

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• A graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling Psychology or a related field with a minimum of 2 years experience (including practicums)


• Registered with good standing in your appropriate regulatory body (OCSWSSW, CRPO, CPO)


• Courteous, warm and professional demeanor


• Experience independently conducting assessments, treatment planning, interventions and referrals for your clients


• Comfort working with clients from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of presenting needs


• Competed advanced training or workshops in various areas of focus on modalities, related to your scope of practice


• Ability to provide trauma-informed, anti-oppressive care for your clients


• Availability to work evening/weekend shifts

Pay rate will be determined based on experience and retention rate with the office providing an online booking and chart management system (Jane), a physical office space, wifi, waiting room and kitchette, regular office cleaning, administrative support for billing and booking, optional office meetings, and optional monthly group consultation.

Salary range: Starting $79.00-$112.00 per session hour
