Job summary

Pafford Medical Services is seeking an On Duty Supervisor (ODS)/Paramedic to lead day-to-day EMS operations in Tunica County, Mississippi. Qualifications

• Five years of progressive experience in emergency services.
• Proven track record of meeting operational goals and objectives.
• Paramedic certification; ICs 100, 200, 800 and NIMS 700 required; 300/400 preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and lead teams.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency assignments and provides exceptional treatment and care.
• Operates emergency vehicles safely and adheres to all rules and regulations.
• Performs supervisory, administrative, and managerial work for daily operations.
• Assists operations manager with staffing and deployment matters.
• Authors investigative briefs for employee injuries, incidents and disciplinary matters.
• Maintains vehicle fleet in a mission-ready status and ensures compliance.
• Manages scheduling, payroll, logistics and supply ordering as needed.
• Provides on-scene support to ground crews and oversees field operations.
