Job summary

Target is seeking an On-Demand Team Member to support guest service in-store. You will pick up shifts through the myTime app, with a flexible schedule and requirements to attend Welcome orientation and complete focused training.

As an On-Demand TM, you create your own schedule by selecting shifts posted by leadership or teammates. You must be reliable, attend orientation, and respond promptly to shift opportunities to maintain employment.

• You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with.
• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.
• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends and holidays and other peak shopping times).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
