Job summary

Target is hiring an On-Demand Team Member to support guest services across store operations. You can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime app; attendance and reliability are essential.

The role emphasizes delivering friendly guest experiences, assisting with checkout, drive-up, orders, and promotions while maintaining store standards. A flexible, team-oriented environment offers opportunities to grow with Target.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments
• Greet: 10ft: be friendly – smile, eye contact, or wave; 4ft: greet and initiate a warm interaction
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
• Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing guest experience by meeting service standards
• Scan and bag items efficiently in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Introduce guests to current brand launches and loyalty programs
• Explain and assist with Wallet and Target App features
• Handle returns and escalate to leaders as needed while following policies
• Deliver service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Keep a clean, organized work area and stock supplies
• Maintain safety, compliance, and ethical conduct at all times
• Support guest services and drive-up workflows per policies
