About On Demand

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with your schedule varying based on store needs and shift availability. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible, personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile app. Active engagement in picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to contact attempts, is required.

Regular attendance is necessary. You must respond to contact attempts and work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). If unable to work once every 4 weeks due to personal reasons, flexibility can be granted. You must work at least one shift within 6 months, or your employment may be terminated. Starting December 2024, this period reduces to 5 months.

Role Responsibilities

As a Guest Advocate, your typical day includes:

• Delivering excellent guest service by greeting and assisting guests
• Understanding guest needs through observation and interaction
• Promoting store services, loyalty programs, and digital features like Wallet and Target App
• Handling transactions, returns, and partner with leaders to resolve issues
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Supporting various store functions including order pickup, drive-up, and cash operations

• Ability to handle cash and support cash office operations
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and work in varying temperatures
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable attendance and active engagement in shift work
