Job summary

Target is hiring an On‑Demand Team Member (Guest Advocate) to create positive guest experiences in a flexible, store‑based role. You will greet guests, answer questions, assist with returns, registries, and Drive‑Up/Order Pick Up services, and help guests navigate the Target App and loyalty programs.

You’ll work in a fast‑paced environment with variable shifts, attend welcome orientation, and receive training to perform duties effectively.

Qualifications

• You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with.
• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.
• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends and other peak shopping times).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
