Job summary

Slidr is hiring drivers for CatawbaGO in Salisbury. Join our team to provide on-demand, all-electric rides to students around Catawba College. You will help classmates get to class, town, and back home, while delivering friendly, high-quality service in a safe, reliable vehicle.

As the face of Slidr, you’ll use the driver app, maintain a clean vehicle, complete quick checks, and coordinate with the team. Flexible full-time and part-time shifts align with the academic calendar and campus life.

Qualifications

• Valid NC driver's license and clean driving record.
• At least 22 years old.
• 3+ years of licensed driving experience in the US.
• Comfortable using the driver app while driving.
• Good communication and a willingness to help students.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, on-demand rides around Catawba College and the Salisbury area.
• Deliver friendly, high-quality service to every rider.
• Use the driver app to accept ride requests and take the best route so riders get there on time.
• Keep your vehicle clean and safe throughout your shift.

About Slidr

Slidr is an electric microtransit company that brings easy, on-demand rides to the communities we serve across North Carolina and Florida. In Salisbury, we run CatawbaGO, the on-demand ride service for Catawba College. Students request a ride through the app and we pick them up and take them where they need to go, all in clean, all-electric vehicles. Because you drive our vehicles, you never pay for gas or insurance, and you never put miles on your own car.

The role

We are hiring drivers for CatawbaGO in Salisbury. We are looking for people who put safety first, enjoy being around others, and want to be a real part of campus life. Our drivers are the face of Slidr. You will help students get to class, to town, and safely back home, lend a hand to anyone who needs a little extra help, and be a friendly, familiar presence students count on.

Requirements
