Job summary

Pinehurst is seeking a Starter/Ranger to help maintain orderly play on our golf courses. You will greet players, direct them to starting tees, and communicate daily course conditions to Members and Guests.

This on-site role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Responsibilities also include monitoring play timeliness, checking tee sheets, and assisting with carts and general course operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and 3 months related experience.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage orderly play and direct players to starting tees.
• Inform players about daily course conditions.
• Monitor course conditions and timeliness of play.
• Assist with returning carts and delivering messages.
• Support other staff as needed.
