Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus homes, provide care and guidance for 8–13 students, and help develop academic, emotional, and social skills in a structured, family-like environment.

The role begins with nine days on, three off, then transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive insurance, relocation and training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
