Job summary

Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas, seeks qualified instructors to join its Theater program as Fall Adjunct Faculty (Theater) on campus. Teaching opportunities include Theater Appreciation, Acting fundamentals, theory and Playwriting & Analysis, with face-to-face classes required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Theater Arts, or related field.
• Previous teaching Drama/Theater at the collegiate level.
• Preferred: five years’ experience in theater teaching at the collegiate level.

Responsibilities

• Teach Theater Appreciation, Acting fundamentals, theory, and Playwriting & Analysis.
• May teach up to nine (9) semester credit hours per term on campus or online as dictated by demand.
• Hold office hours and assist students as needed.
• Face-to-face attendance on campus is required.
