Job summary

Job Description

The Department of Fine & Performing Arts seeks qualified applicants for future part‑time Adjunct Faculty appointments in Theater for Teaching of Theater Appreciation, Acting (fundamentals, theory, and practice), and/or Playwriting & Analysis. Applicants may teach up to nine (9) semester credit hours within the discipline, hold office hours, and assist students as needed. Face‑to‑face instruction on campus is required.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate courses in theater appreciation, acting, or playwriting & analysis.
  • Develop and deliver course materials, assignments, and assessments.

Benefits

Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary appointments per semester. Benefits and compensation will be consistent with Texas state law and university policy up to the defined maximum.
