Job summary

Texas A&M International University is seeking a Federal College Work Study-Student to assist with the Tennis Complex daily operations, provide member service, and support tennis events and programs. The role emphasizes welcoming members, maintaining safety, and contributing to events coordination.

The position requires half-time enrollment, meetings the GPA and financial aid requirements, and a CPR/AED certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at least half-time, 6 credit hours per semester for undergraduate and 3 credit hours per semester for graduates.
• Maintain a TAMIU overall GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate students and 3.0 for graduates students.
• Must have a current and complete file with the Office of Financial Aid.
• Must demonstrate financial need by submitting a FAFSA application annually.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, or permanent residence, or has an alien registration number, an eligible non-citizen.
• Must meet all other requirements as stated in TAMIU’s SAPP

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for members and assist with the daily operations of the Tennis Complex.
• Assist in preparation for, supervision of, and tear-down of special events held in Rec Sports facilities.
• Assist with member verification to facilitate proper access to the facility.
• Assist with outreach programs and activities for school groups aligning with University recruitment efforts.
