Wellness Together is seeking a part-time Mental Health Specialist to join our California team, providing on-site counseling to students at Barstow area schools. The role offers flexible hours aligned with school schedules and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Requirements include a Master’s degree and active BBS registration; experience with youth trauma and CBT/ACT skills are preferred. Fluency in a second language is a plus; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree is required.
• BBS registration in good standing (AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC)
• Experience working with youth impacted by trauma (preferred)
• Familiarity with CBT and ACT
• Ability to collaborate with school teams and families
• Fluency in a second language (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students
• Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans
• Offer crisis intervention and perform risk assessments
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners
• Lead mental health workshops for students, parents, and educators
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation (HIPAA & FERPA compliant)
• Attend triadic clinical supervision and ongoing professional development
