Job summary

Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Tulsa campus. The incumbent will work independently on daily campus operations, addressing maintenance requests, setting up classrooms and event spaces, and performing repairs as needed.

Reporting to the Director of Operations for OSUCHS-Tulsa, the role requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, operate power tools, and work overtime as necessary to support campus needs.

Qualifications

• High School/GED; degree conferred on or before start date.
• 6 months of maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Respond to Faculty and Staff Maintenance requests.
• Set up classrooms, break out rooms, meeting halls, and lobbies for special meetings and events.
• Perform property inspections and coordinate with OSUCHS facilities.
• Work independently and collaboratively as needed with facilities teams.
• Assist with carpentry, painting, plumbing and minor electrical repairs.
• Move and set up office furniture and equipment; handle general repairs.
