Job summary

KIPP North Carolina Public Schools is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our school operations team. The LPN will collaborate with staff to maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and provide direct student care, including medications and health screenings.

Reporting to the Director of School Operations, the LPN will ensure compliance with health protocols, coordinate with families, and support wellness initiatives across campuses within the district.

Qualifications

• Assists students with health needs and daily care
• Maintains student health records and documentation
• Strong communication with families and staff
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a school setting
• Knowledge of school health protocols and immunizations

• Provide well-student health care and first aid on campus
• Administer doctor-prescribed medications to students
• Develop emergency plans and train staff for health events
• Maintain and audit student health files annually
• Ensure confidentiality of health information and records
