Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks dedicated Full-time Flex Houseparents to join a two-person married couple team living on-campus in Hershey, PA. You will provide care, guidance, and supervision for a group of 8–13 students, supporting their academic, emotional, and social development in a family-like setting.

The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with transition to a Placed Houseparent living arrangement.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Lead activities and devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
