Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Economics.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication; ability to write syllabi and exams; ability to develop learning strategies, curriculum and assessments; as well as the ability to work with students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level economics courses in-person on the main Roanoke campus.
• Maintain currency in teaching disciplines and trends in community college education.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
