Job summary

Texas A&M University is seeking a Student Worker: RLL – Customer Service Assistant-1 in Commerce, TX. The role supports the Residential Living and Learning front desk with inquiries, check-ins, and student assistance.

The position runs fall 2026 with in-person hours 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday, and may require participation in campus events. Candidates must be enrolled undergrad, maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, and be eligible for work-study.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as an undergraduate student and able to provide a Fall 2026 class schedule upon hire.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA and positive conduct record with university.
• Available Tue/Thu 12pm-4pm and able to work in-person in Commerce.

Responsibilities

• Greet lobby guests and assist with inquiries and referrals.
• Document student communications into the resident files.
• Process work orders and use StarRez/Maintenance Connection as needed.
• Familiarize with RLL website and CSA procedures.
• Support front counter operations and campus event coverage.
• Other tasks as assigned by staff.
