Job summary

Joliet Junior College seeks an Adjunct Instructor for Business Law to teach on campus. The position is part time and paid per contact hour, under the Joliet Junior College adjunct faculty contract. Candidates must hold an ABA-accredited JD and have at least two years of law practice experience.

The instructor will join the Business Department and collaborate with full-time faculty to assess students and follow course guidelines. Willingness to teach at other campus sites is desired.

Qualifications

• Must have Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• At least two years of law practice experience.
• Available for 2–4 on-campus class assignments Monday–Friday 8:00 am–1:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes in Business Law on campus.
• Participate in annual evaluations of students and chair/coordinator.
• Comply with curriculum, grading standards, attendance policies, and assessments.
