Job summary

Grand Canyon University invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach the Animal Behavior Lab at the Phoenix campus for the Spring 2027 semester. The position is in-person with smaller class sizes and opportunities to mentor students.

Responsibilities include facilitating lectures and discussions, assessing student performance, and upholding the University's Doctrinal Statement and Mission. Qualified candidates include a Master's with 18 graduate biology credits or a Doctorate preferred;

Qualifications

• Preferred: Doctorate or Master's in a Biological Science with emphasis in animal form and function or evolutionary biology or animal behavior.
• Minimum: Master's in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology emphasizing animal form and function or evolutionary biology or animal behavior.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions.
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
