Job summary

Spartanburg Community College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach Anatomy & Physiology (A&P I and/or A&P II) in on-site classrooms and laboratories. The role supports students pursuing health-related degrees and requires delivering high-quality instruction aligned with course objectives and college standards.

Responsibilities include teaching lecture and/or lab sections, developing assessments, and maintaining attendance and grading records in D2L while adhering to syllabi and policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Health Sciences, or closely related field.
• Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in biology, anatomy, physiology, or related coursework.
• Experience developing and administering assessments (quizzes, exams, labs).
• Ability to maintain attendance and grading records in alignment with college policies.

Responsibilities

• Teach Anatomy & Physiology lecture and/or lab courses on campus.
• Develop and administer assessments (quizzes, exams, lab practicals).
• Maintain accurate attendance and grading records.
• Use the institution’s LMS D2L.
• Follow departmental syllabi, learning outcomes, and college policies.
