Hearst's KCRA 3 in Sacramento is seeking a seasoned host/reporter to appear on camera daily, write and edit scripts, and deliver engaging stories for TV, digital, streaming and social platforms.

The role requires strong storytelling, the ability to travel for story assignments, and a collaborative approach with a team of managers, producers, reporters, photographers and editors; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have strong storytelling and writing abilities.
• 6+ years of professional on-camera hosting or reporting experience.
• Ability to edit scripts and conduct compelling interviews.
• Willingness to travel for story assignments and work varied shifts.

Responsabilités

• Deliver scripted and adlib material with personality, purpose and pizzazz
• Uncover and pitch unique ideas for stories across platforms
• Experiment with creative formats for short-form video and live content
