Job summary

Aleut Federal, LLC is seeking an On-Call Recreation Assistant to supervise and mentor trainees in leisure and non-vocational programs. You will supervise activities, lead weekly contests, and assist with trips and safety training.

The role emphasizes a strong safety culture, effective communication, and the ability to adapt activities to seasonal conditions while maintaining center standards and non-discrimination policies.

Qualifications

• Associate of Arts degree or 1 year related experience with youth.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• CDL with passenger transport endorsement preferred.
• Knowledge of recreation/non-vocational activities and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and abides by Aleut Core Values.
• Organizes and implements recreation/non-vocational programs and activities.
• Develops weekly contests and tournaments.
• Assist with water safety programming and CIS.
• Coaches intramural/varsity teams and supports trainees in fitness and clubs.
• Ensure programs comply with Department of Labor and safety standards.
