Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance (DCSAM) is seeking reliable on-call Snow Plow Drivers to keep Virginia roads clear during winter weather. This seasonal position requires you to operate snowplow trucks and comply with safety rules while traveling to designated snow locations.

Eligible applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and be prepared for DOT drug screening and background checks. Prior snowplow experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and pass a DOT drug screen/MVR review.
• Willingness to travel to snow locations and stay for the event duration.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks safely and responsibly during winter storms.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety rules.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
• Communicate with Route Manager or Dispatch about unsafe situations or service needs.
• Attend required safety meetings and training sessions.
• Assist other drivers or routes when needed.
