Job summary

I-2-I Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Water Sampling Technician to support drinking and environmental water sampling at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The role is primarily field-based, with emphasis on scheduled compliance sampling and rapid response to emergencies within two hours of notification.

Responsibilities include sample collection, proper preservation, chain-of-custody, and coordination with Field Bioenvironmental Engineering personnel. Flexible after-hours and weekend support is required.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting drinking water or environmental water samples.
• Familiarity with Florida DEP sampling SOPs.
• Knowledge of sample preservation and holding times.

Responsibilities

• Collect water samples at designated locations in accordance with Florida DEP procedures.
• Preserve, label, and package samples for lab transport.
• Maintain chain-of-custody documentation accurately.
• Coordinate sampling with field management and installation staff.
• Respond to emergency sampling requests within 2 hours of notification.
• Support after-hours and weekend sampling as needed.
