Job summary

National Water Services in Williamsburg, MI, seeks a Water Filtration Technician for on-call/as-needed work. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment at retail locations, with on-site visits dispatched as required.

Position is 1099 independent contractor, pays $55/hr all-inclusive, and offers flexible, no-fixed-schedule hours suitable for side income or other trade work.

Qualifications

• Hands-on plumbing knowledge (water lines, valves, fittings).
• Hands-on electrical systems experience and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment on your own.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Smartphone with camera for photos and reports.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-call dispatches at retail store locations in your area.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment.
• Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit.
• Communicate findings and repair status back to the NWS home office.
