Job summary

National Water Services in Arlington, VA seeks a flexible Service Technician - On-Call / Gig to diagnose and repair water vending equipment at retail locations. This role is on a 1099 independent contractor basis, with pay at $55/hr all-inclusive and no fixed schedule.

On-call dispatches may require quick on-site fixes or follow-up visits. You will bring hands-on plumbing and electrical experience, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone to submit before/after photos

Qualifications

• Hands-on plumbing experience (water lines, valves, fittings) is required.
• Hands-on electrical experience (wiring, components) is required.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment on your own.
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Smartphone with camera to capture service photos and reports.
• Available for on-call dispatch in your local area.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-call dispatches at retail store locations in your area.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment.
• Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit.
• Communicate findings and repair status back to the NWS home office.
