Job summary

NWS FreshPure Water Systems is seeking a Service Technician on an on‑call basis in Chicago, IL. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment, responding to dispatches and coordinating with the home office.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible hours. Qualified candidates have hands-on plumbing and electrical experience, a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and a smartphone with camera for reporting on-site and

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with basic plumbing: water lines, valves, fittings, connections.
Hands-on experience with basic electrical systems: wiring, components, troubleshooting.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment on your own.
Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
Smartphone with a camera for reporting and communication.
Available for on‑call dispatch in your local area.

Responsibilities

Respond to on‑call dispatches at retail store locations in your area.
Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment.
Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit.
Communicate findings and repair status back to the NWS home office.
