Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular studies across age groups on an as-needed basis. The role requires proficiency in ultrasound technique, accurate imaging, and collaboration with physicians for diagnostic information.

The successful candidate will support a busy clinical environment, provide education to non-registered staff, and ensure accurate documentation and communication with physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for cardiovascular diagnostic sonography or equivalent.
• ARDMS RVT registration in vascular sonography or equivalent CCI registration required within one year of hire.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in performing vascular studies using ultrasound and recording necessary images.
• Maintains patient records and prepares test data for physician interpretation.
• Provides leadership and training to non-registered staff as requested.
• Explains tests to patients and families and answers questions.
