Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer II to perform routine to advanced non-invasive vascular sonograms, including transcranial Doppler where applicable. You will be part of the direct patient care team, mentor Technologist I's and students, and assist physicians during diagnostic procedures while maintaining high patient safety and service standards.

The role requires on-call availability and adherence to sonography guidelines.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience as a Vascular Sonographer.
• Graduate of education program approved by credentialing body.
• Vascular license/certification: RVT or ARRT-VS or RVS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-invasive vascular sonograms including TCD where applicable.
• Mentors Technologist I's and students.
• Provides direct assistance to physicians with diagnostic procedures.
