Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic, non-invasive vascular exams using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment in Toledo, OH. The role requires knowledge of vascular anatomy and interpretation criteria, with on-call duties as part of the schedule.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's degree in a related health science field, certification in vascular technology (RVT/ARDMS/ARRT preferred and to be obtained within 1 year), and BLS before direct patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in applied health science with concentration in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography or related field is required.
• One year of experience as vascular technologist is preferred.
• Licensure/certification in vascular technology is required within 1 year of hire (RVT/ARDMS/ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred or required before direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accreditation and regulatory compliance of Vascular department.
• Ensures quality, accuracy, and confidentiality of patient data.
• Prepares procedures, documents and patient instructions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of vascular anatomy, procedures, and interpretation criteria.
• On-Call duties are required.
