Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is seeking an entry to mid-level individual to assist with operation and maintenance of vactor trucks for sewer cleaning tasks. The role involves locating manholes, maintaining safety zones, and performing basic vehicle maintenance at CFPUA sites.

Duties include assisting in daily operations, traffic control, and performing assigned related tasks. A high school diploma or GED is required, with CDL Class B and tanker endorsement within 1 year positively

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Six months of equipment or construction experience or related field.
• Must possess or obtain a NC Class B CDL with tanker endorsement within 1 year of employment.
• NC Grade 1 Collections certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in daily operation of sewer cleaning operations.
• Locate sewer manholes and cleanouts.
• Set up safe work zones.
• Clean sewer mains and identify areas needing cleaning.
• Maintain traffic control around the vactor truck.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Conocimientos

Valid NC Driver's License

CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement

Six months of equipment experience

Educación

High School Diploma or GED

NC Grade 1 Collections certification (preferred)
