Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for an On-Call schedule in Sterling, VA. The role involves patrolling, monitoring, reporting, and ensuring a safe indoor environment for clients and staff.

Responsibilities include guarding premises, authorizing access, and maintaining daily DARs. Requires valid DCJS security license, driver's license with clean record, and at least 1 year of security experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid Security Guard License (DCJS).
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Must have one year of experience as a security officer.
• Preference to those with experience in data centers.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have good communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and others to guard against theft and maintain security.
• Circulate among visitors and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards and infractions.
• Enforce rules and respond to emergencies requiring security assistance.
• Escort individuals as needed and write detailed reports (DARs).
• Provide courteous, professional assistance to customers and staff.
