Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the Fridley, MN area on a flexible on-call basis. The role emphasizes strong customer service, vigilance, and professional interaction with clients and staff across shifts.

The position requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma, valid driver's license and clean driving record, plus the ability to follow complex instructions and pass company screenings. Candidates should be prepared for physical patrols and multi-location training.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Driver's License
• Clean driving record and valid driver license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
• Train in multiple locations and cover when needed.
• Be adaptable to schedule changes
• Have availability to work more than two shifts to cover where the operator needs you to be scheduled depending on coverage needs.
