Job summary

WinTec Arrowmaker, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking an Integration Specialist / UAS Pilot for a bench, as-needed role. You will operate, pilot, and maintain UAS platforms including ground control systems, reporting to the Program Manager.

A 1099 independent contractor arrangement is expected with travel and security requirements. Requirements include 5+ years in UAS, ability to obtain FAA Part 107, and strong technical and safety discipline.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ experience with remote control aircraft and UAS platforms.
• Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 license.
• Experience with military systems, GPS, RF video transmission, aviation, airspace management.
• Maintain flight logs and certification documentation.
• Knowledge of actuators, servos, motors, and wiring.
• Knowledge of composite materials used in UAS manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication in fast-paced field and office environments.
• Emphasis on field safety for all personnel.
• Demonstrated initiative and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate fixed-wing and multirotor UAS under guidance.
• Provide technical guidance and after-action reports following field experimentation.
• Repair and maintain structural and electronic control systems of UAS platforms.
• Perform balance and flight-check for return-to-service.
• Conduct UAS flight operations including mission planning and image transmission.
• Maintain UAS inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.
