Job summary

The Kaiser Permanente Clackamas Surgical Services team seeks a dedicated Surgical Technologist to scrub in during procedures and support the health care team in delivering high-quality patient care. You will coordinate with OR staff and help ensure a safe, efficient operating room.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Surgical Technology and Basic Life Support at hire; surgical technologist certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Surgical Technologist Certificate required at hire.
• Knowledge of sterile core area and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs in during procedures and coordinates with Circulator.
• Maintains sterile field and ensures patient safety intra-operatively.
• Assists with room turnover and reprocessing of instruments.
