Medical Solutions Direct Hire seeks a Surgical Technologist for an on-call role in Aitkin, Minnesota. The position involves preparing sterile instruments and supplies to support surgical procedures, maintaining the sterile field, and assisting the surgical team.

Strong preference for CST certification and 2+ years of scrub experience; LPN or military training acceptable. A 36-hour workweek with 12-hour shifts on days and on call, with a staff employment type.

About the Position:

This position is responsible for preparing and providing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment to support surgical procedures. The role involves maintaining the sterile field, anticipating, and responding to the needs of the surgical team. It requires providing care and assistance to patients of all ages, including newborns, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

What we are looking for:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program, or
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical scrub experience with related clinical training (e.g., LPN, Military).
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent professional certification is preferred.

American Heart Association BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
