Job summary

Webster-Groves-School-District is hiring substitute teachers for the district. Positions are available for 5-day and 4-day substitutes. Compensation is $165.00 per day with substitute certification and $175.00 per day with teacher certification.

Applicants must hold a Missouri Teacher or Substitute certificate or have 60 hours of college credit. A fingerprint background check is required after interview. New hires will need to complete fingerprint steps as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri Teacher certificate, or Missouri Substitute certificate, or 60 hours of college credit.
• Fingerprints/background check required after interview.

Responsibilities

• Follow and communicate lesson plans left by the permanent teacher.
• Create a climate of respect and fairness for all students.
• Establish and maintain appropriate classroom behavior/management.
• Be on call to cover absences of the regular teaching staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school principal.
