Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking an on-call Substitute Teacher to support multiple classrooms serving children ages 0–6. No formal Montessori training is required; training will be provided during orientation and onboarding.

This role offers flexible, as-needed hours and serves as a pathway to full-time Assistant Teacher roles. You will step into classrooms as needed, help with routines, and foster a calm, engaging environment while collaborating with staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Valid state background check.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
• Passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency.
