Job summary

Tampa Torah Academy is expanding its substitute teacher pool for the 2025–2026 school year. We are seeking dependable, enthusiastic, and caring individuals to join our pool of on-call substitute teachers across many grade levels, from 1st Grade through High School.

As a substitute, you will work on a flexible, on-demand schedule, following prepared lesson plans and supporting students in a warm, student-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or youth in educational settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Professionalism, reliability, and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to follow provided lesson plans and school expectations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction as per provided lesson plans for substitute assignments.
• Support classroom management and student engagement.
• Collaborate with regular teachers and staff to ensure continuity of learning.
• Adapt to multiple grades from 1st to 11th as needed.
