Job Responsibilities:

1. Work effectively with other teacher(s) in the assigned classroom and center.
2. Support the social and emotional development of children and use “positive guidance” approaches to deal with challenging behaviors.
3. Encourage the involvement of the families of the children in a Head Start program and support the development of relationships between children and their families.
4. Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other aspects of center operations.

Job Requirements:

1. The commitment and passion to work with children and families.
2. Effective communication and written skills.
3. High School Diploma or equivalent; Substitute Certification preferred; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
4. Willing to complete Introduction to Childcare Profession Certification or Already Completed.
