On-Call Substitute

Position Summary

Substitute Teachers at St. HOPE are held to the highest standards of conduct, dress, and overall professionalism. On-Call Substitutes are called to work on an as needed basis. When called, they will report to the school's front office at 7:30 (PS7E) and 8:00 (Sac High and PS7M) and are released from their duties at the end of the school day. Candidates must hold the belief that all children can succeed academically and socially; this belief must drive him or her to be relentless in his or her work.

All substitute teachers report to the Site Lead.

• Understanding and experience working with the nuances of urban school environments and school culture
• Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Spanish)
