Job summary

Total Turf Maintenance in Dakota County is seeking an experienced snow removal operator to protect properties during winter weather. You will operate plow trucks and skid loaders, respond to snow events around the clock, and ensure safe, efficient service while coordinating with a small team.

Applicants must have a valid license, reliable transport, and be able to work outdoors in cold conditions; on-call availability is required. Training provided on equipment and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience operating snow removal equipment such as plow trucks or skid loaders.
• Must have reliable transportation to shop or job site at any time of day or night.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work variable hours, including on-call 24/7 during snow events.
• Physically able to work outdoors in cold, icy, and snowy conditions.
• Provide own cold weather clothing (boots, coat, hat, gloves).
• Legal work authorization to work in the United States.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to remove snow and ice from walkways, driveways, and parking lots according to contract specifications and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to snow events, providing emergency snow removal services at any hour, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, protecting landscaping and property during snow removal operations.
• Perform routine care and maintenance of equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient service delivery.
