Job summary

Landscape Design Concepts is seeking experienced Skid Steer Operators to support our commercial snow and ice management. These on-site, part-time seasonal roles involve 24/7 on-call availability during winter, with shifts varying by storm duration and site needs.

Applicants must be able to work extended periods in extreme winter conditions, lift 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks. Pay is hourly with 4-hour minimums and 14-day shift-payment timelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating snow removal or similar equipment.
• Equipment experience appropriate to the position you're applying for.
• Valid driver’s license, Preferred but not required for this position
• Reliable transportation to your assigned job site
• Smartphone for communication and mobile app reporting.
• Safety-minded, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned snow removal equipment at commercial sites or assigned properties.
• Clear parking lots, roadways, driveways, entrances, ramps, and other designated service areas based on your assignment and site specific needs.
• Perform basic equipment inspections before, during and after snow events, at times you may be required to interchange machine attachments based on assignment when required, checking/maintaining fluids and fuel during work times, loading salt into salt trucks.
• Maintain communication with your Site Supervisor and/or other LDC Staff.
• Complete assigned work safely and efficiently while following company procedures.
