Job summary

Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa in Beaver Creek, CO, is seeking an on-call server to join our Bar & Grill and lobby bar team. You will take guest orders, present recommendations, and contribute to a refined dining experience in a ski-in/ski-out resort setting.

The role is hourly/entry level with on-call availability; starting pay is $12.14 per hour plus tips, with benefits including meals and staff perks. Training will cover beverage and menu knowledge to provide exceptional service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience as a server, preferably in a fine dining environment.
• Desire to satisfy guests needs in a fast-paced setting.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight.
• Flexible schedule including AM and PM shifts.

Responsibilities

Our ski-in/ski-out location in the heart of Beaver Creek Village is adjacent to the ski school and home to skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and more in winter. The summer brings activities including fly fishing, river rafting and scenic hiking trails – all just outside our doorstep. Our Restaurant and cocktail servers will be cross trained in our 8100 Mountainside Bar & Grill as well as our upscale lobby bar area, Brass Bear Bar Lounge. Servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right candidate will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.

The starting rate for this position is $12.14 plus tips. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.
